I realize it the wrong forum but theres not much in the detailing forum so i hope this one can help me. what is the stuff between the bottom of the rear doors and wheel well of an 850, some kind of paint protection, mine is cracked and discolored. What did you use to fix. Thanks.

 

Yes it is a protector You would have to peel it all off and buy a replacement one.

 

is this the clear vynal type protector he is talking about?

 

checked ipd and grotton, cant find anything similar. its like plastic all cracked the only way to get it off is to scrape it. any ideas where i can find someting like that

 

I would get it from the Dealer because it is an OEM thing.

From the age and dirt stuck on it. All of mine are the same way.
