what you guys think this car is worth...It's pure sex!!

It's 100% stock but it has 198,000 miles. It's only a 2 owner car. Guy said it came from Germany. Not a thing wrong with it according to the owner. Here are some more pictures. He said all the maitenance was done at a Volvo dealership and the timing belt was replaced at 145,000. Said everything works. No 3rd seat in the back just storage. NADA gives it a $4500 price for private party in Excellent condition. KBB gives it $3500 for private party. He is asking $6500. What do you think? I know she has to be a rare bird but not sure if it is worth that much

I would be happy with a regular 850 Turbo. All it needs is the 850R ECU for $200 and I am good to go!! Honestly I only want to spend about $2,000 and then another $500-$800 giving it a stage 0 and drive it for a while. Everyone in the South wants a damn arm and leg for their Volvo's around here. The ones that are cheap usually have engine or trannie problems and I really do not want to deal with that for a while. I can do the work myself, just don't want too.

If you think they are expensive over there, check this out http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-314167148.htm
It's lower K's (half...) but even once you take exchange rates it's pricey. And it was a grey-market import into NZ.

Man, you guys are keeping me up tonight. I would purchase that wagon in 5 minutes if I were able. Can you tell me where it is on CL, I'll see what I can get him down to.
The last wagon I seen for sale was either in Vermont or somewhere near there in Canada. It had about 167,000 miles in it and it was listed on AutoTradder. It came up on a Wednesday and by the time I got a hold to the guy around 11:30, he already had a deposit on it. They were only asking $3,500. I offered them $1,000 more and told them I'd send them the cash and pick it up the next day and they declined my offer. On a low milage car I probably wouldn't do mods, if it had less than 100,000 miles on it, but one with that many miles on it, I would mod away. I guess I will not give up hope on getting a yellow wagon, that's about 1 per year that sells.

As for the cars for sale, my guess would be that the A/C is out on the wagon. Also, is the gas door open or thing missing. It looks in good enough shape to buy, it's ashame it has so many miles on it.
As for the other one, in who knows where, that thing is rough. And I must say, I'm simply afraid to purchase a car that has a tow bar on the back of it. My 960 has an U-Haul hitch installed, my guess was that it was a one time use to move a trailer somewhere, like delivering a child to college or something. The ball was gone so I don't think it was a common thing. Back to the yellow sedan, it has several things that were wrong with it in the pics. Mods installed, dash separation, tow hitch, paint off on panels (like mine), dirty motor, no floor mats, broken spoiler, wipers on headlights not parked properly, etc. Can't see paying over $4,000 for that one.

sorry rspi I had to go to bed. It's in GA but the guy knows what he has and I doubt he will move much on the price! Here's the link:

Well, from the pics it is real hard to tell. I would like to believe I have a trained photo eye. I have sent the guy 3 messages and have not heard back from him yet. The pic of the dash shows that both temp dials are at 6 O'clock, that usually means the ac is not working. Also, who take a picture of the fuel door open, I think it's missing.
I still want the car and if the guy ever gets in touch with me I'll figure out if he is ready to deal. I will try to sell mine, with low milage compared to his, to try to get the thing. But I would have it inspected by a car inspector, then work the deals on my end. I have two people that claim they will purchase mine but I need to make sure this car will work for me.
