I bought some third row seats to add to my wagon. I haven't got them yet but I have been looking and trying see who was designed to sit back there. I know its too small for adults but I doubt you are suppose to put car/booster seats there either. So I'm assuming that its meant for medium sized kids. So my question is for you guys that have the third row seats can you fill me in on this. Thanks!

 

I don't know, but can you put some pictures of your third row sits, and can you tell me how much it cost you, i also want to add to my wagon.

Well I looked for quite a while trying to find the seats it the local u pull it bone yards with no luck. The regular yards that pull the parts for you wanted more then I was willing to pay, the cheapest I found was $375 and the ones on ebay usually go for even more then that. I finally was able to win an ebay auction at a decent price. I think this one went a little cheaper because it isn't in pristine condition like the ones that go for $600 are. I think they're designed with to hold people smaller than 5 feet and less than 100 lbs. However more than once I've had a few 21 year olds sit back there, and they have said it's tolerable for short trips.

 

Concur with the udnder 100 lbs, that is what he manual says on our 01 XC 70 so I imagine the 850 wagon is similar

Actually, my mother-in-law is maybe 4'10" and a little over 100 lbs so any amount of money is worth the peace

I have an 855 wagon and it has a third row seat.

Along with the ghey child seat arm rest that I would LOVE to get rid of.

However, I can't find any 850s in yards with black interiors. They are all tan!



Additionally, I tried sitting in the cargo seat. I could squeeze my *** into it barely. I'm 6'1" and weigh 175lbs, but I'm really flexible, so maybe thats part of it.

It is most definitely designed for youngsters or really short people. My girlfriend is 5'0" and can fit into it.
