I have a 94 850 NA. The right front (pass) side ABS wires were ripped out of the plug going into the sensor. I need to know how to properly connect the wires back together. There is a brown wire and a black wire.
The plug into the sensor is labeled 1 and 2. Which color wire goes to each?

Maybe have a look at the sensor on the opposite wheel ?????

 

Yep, that's what I did. Pulled the other wheel, cleaned the wires, and determined the correct connections.
BROWN goes to terminal #1, BLACK to #2

 

ABS is now working. Cost was time to pull apart connector, solder in 2 wires,
solder those wires to the ABS harness and shrink the shrink tube to seal.
