Won't restart when hot
Got one more issue to deal with, after driving the car a short distance, I came home and shut the car off. I then realized I needed to move it out of the driveway, went to start it and nothing. I waited a couple minutes and tried again, this time it tried to start, but wouldn't take hold. So I let it set for 5 more minutes, and it started up and I moved it. Tried to start it today and it started right up. I am assuming this is a fuel pump that on it's way out, is this a correct assumption? Is it possible to buy the aftermarket type pumps that sell on ebay at any of the major car part stores? I would hate to order one and not get it by the weekend, and I don't want to pay for expedited shipping.
Yeah, it cranked fine but seemed like it wasn't getting fuel. I drove it to the grocery store and back tonight with no problems, but I am going to go ahead and order a new pump and filter, because I drive way too much to be driving with an iffy fuel pump.
It could be that or maybe the relay as well.
Best way to find out for sure would be to get a fuel pressure guage and keep it connected and when it won't start see if there is fuel pressure.
