Would you...?
Buy back an 850 you sold?
I just found my last white one on the local CraigsList for $3,000.
Apparently it has new Mastercraft tires (that's what was on it when I sold it, and they were down nearly bald). Also said it has new front rotors and rear brakes, along with an oil leak fixed.
The guy I sold it to called me the next day after buying it saying the odometer didn't work. I clearly told him verbally and in the bill of sale that it did NOT work, along with the fact that the title said NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE on it. He threatened to sue me.
However, the guy selling it is not the guy I sold it to.
This the 850 that has screwed up wastegate.

So would you buy it back? Or find a better one...

That's a difficult question. Would you be buying it back for less than you sold it? Like you sold it for $4000 and can now buy it back for $3000 with new tires and brakes and pocket $1000 for your trouble. At least you'd know whats wrong with it but having a new one to play with with new questions to answer could be fun.
