Does anyone have info on where the engine air filter box is and how to change filter. Manual shows air filter in incorrect location. Tracing the air path to box but appears to have two screws and do not want to start yanking without knowing for sure.

Volvo's free replacement is at 37,500 and I feel this is excessive for a air filter and want to change sooner.

Those two screws are just small hex sockets. You can remove them and pull out the filter housing like a drawer. Just swap the filter and screw the housing back down.
