Default AWD System + Transmission Capabilities

I dont actually own a C30 yet, but I am considering buying one. I like almost everything about it: exterior styling, hatchback style, and the T5 engine especially. But theres one thing i don't really like: the front wheel drive system. About how much might it cost to convert the car to an all wheel drive system? I assume a Haldex system would be best, I know it worked for some of the SEMA concepts. Also, I would like to increase the power output, so does anyone know how much power the stock transmission can handle? I don't intend on making any outrageous upgrades, but i just want to be sure I don't overdo it.

Polestar did it too.

But you are talking about 10k (USA) worth of work, and it isn't even worth thinking about it. AWD makes you slower, puts a lot more stress on a frame not meant for AWD. And what transmission are you talking about? Plus you need to start worrying about internals before transmission.

If you want AWD, the best bet would be looking at a S60R at the moment.

There is a reason it was only a concept.

Yeah, I thought about it some and was afraid installing an AWD system would be relatively expensive, overly complex, and too heavy. I can deal with the FWD system.

I am talking about the stock manual transmission, unmodified from purchase. The most I would consider doing as far as performance goes would be a larger turbo and new exhaust system
