C30 DRIVe se lux - seats
Hi does anyone find the leather seats on this model very un-supportive? Is it possible to swap the drivers seat for an R design version. Would these R design seats be any better? i.e. I find my upper body moves about the seat when cornering. I swapped from a BMw 120i sport to a Volvo C30 DRIVe so I could get my son insured as he just passed his test. I found the BMW seats far more supportive. Also do you find the seats to be high? even when they are at their lowest settings?
Thanks

Seats in C30 R Design
I have a 2009 R Design but experience same issues (i.e. lack of side support).
This is not as supportive or comfortable as other cars (my Chrysler Crossfire for example). I actually dread a long road trip in the C30 with these seats.
I would like to put something else in that would be more comfortable and power as well.
Any suggestions?

I have a 2009 C30 with the standard seats (not leather) and they are the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in a Volvo (except for my "73 1800ES). I test drove a 2016 C30 and those seats were a bit stiff...I don't know, something must have changed in that production year or something...but you know...it's a Volvo...not a Ford GT.

Well for starters the seats are not all leather , parts are plastic that seem to outlast the leather due to less wear I suppose but they are ok its a Volvo not a race car , our on a 2005 S40 T5 still look like new . but I do treat it with some leather conditioner 2 x a year and its parked in a garage so very little Sun but OK for a 16year old car, , Better comfort than my Alfa
