Check engine light comes on only after restarting
Looking for advice on a check engine light issue with my 08 C30 2.4i.
When I reset the check engine light (disconnecting neg on battery) I can drive hundreds of kilometres without it coming on. However, when I shut the car off and restart, it always comes on after 10-30km of driving. If I reset it again, I can start and once more drive until whenever I stop, whether 50 or 500km, and it does not come on, but it will again soon after restarting and driving 10-30km, whether it is the same day or a week later. This pattern has repeated many times.
Front 02 sensor was replaced and did not change a thing.
Any advice on possible causes?
