Default Looking to Buy A C-30

I have been looking for a new volvo. So far, I have owned a 1995 850 and the 1998 s70 that I currently own. For those that own the c-30, I was curious as to how you like it so far? Have you encountered any issues since it was released? I am used to the larger sedan, but I like what I see in the hatchback. Please let me know how you are liking the c-30!!!

Hi
Yes I bought one about 10 days ago, Previously I owned an '07 S40 and a '96 850 Turbo. I chose Volov after a couple of really bad car wrecks. Fortunately I have had none since I started supporting this brand.

Overall I really really like car. An issue I have had is that after the car was fueled for the first time the check engine light came on. I took it to Jaguar Volvo of OKC and Charlie reset the light and did a software upgrade on the car.

I got the car for the hatchback and it is working good for me so far. I need to get the tow package and a trailer so I can really start using the car. Mine is RDesign with 6 speed and Passion Red.

One of the things that comes to mind is the location of the mp3 input jack. On my S40 it was behind the console (nice) but on this one it has been moved to the inside of the console storage on the bottom, (not nice) and unless something is plugged in all the time it is sure to become plugged up with debris. They should have kept it behind the console, I had my iPod velcro'd to the dash on my S40 and that worked well. There is an iPod control Volvo offers so I may look at that later. That is my only complaint.

This car may be faster than my 850T was! I suggest you test drive one!

We have one and love it. Now. Have over 3,000 miles on it now. But we did have a problem with it right away. The radio didn't work, and then the digital readout froze and we couldn't Adjust heat or A/C.. They had to replace two different computers. It took 5 days to get it all fixxed. We didn't mind, they gave us a new S80 as a loaner. Tom

Thanks for the information. Finally got around to test driving a c-30 the other day and there was nothing bad I can say about it. The shifting on the manual was smooth as silk and I am going to love the horsepower. Hopefully when I do purhase, I won't run into any technological issues as you have suggested, but I'll take a loaner s80 as well!!! Once again, thanks for the insight and stay safe out there on the roads.
