Oil Pan with Sensor vs Without Sensor

Does anyone know difference between w sensor and w\o sensor.
I need to change my oil pan, it has a leak. I will order but I am getting 2 type of listing.
My card is C30 2008 t5

I'd make a quick call to a dealer to have them search by your VIN, but it looks to me lthat the 2008 C30 T5 doesn't have the sensor while the 2008 C30 T5R Design does...
