Water driver side

I have a 2011 c30 I have had the sunroof drains cleared in march and had them checked again 2 weeks ago. It started raining and I threw tarps on the top of the car not too long after it started raining. It rained for a full day and today the front driver side floor had standing water and the carpets are soake (front driver side only). What else could it possible be? Also I tried vacuum up the water as much as possible but it is still very wet. I put some desiccants in but worried it is too late?
