What is this part called?
The hatch hardware...
What do you call the plastic housing below the VOLVO badging on the hatchback, that contains the electronics and the handle for opening the hatch? This is on a 2011 C30. I'm trying to find a new or used one for my wife's car. Is it sold separately, or will I need to buy a whole new rear hatch?

It is a Tailgagte Hatch Handle. I would recommend getting one from FCP Euro, as they have lifetime warranty. Used may be just as good, but if it falls off again, at least you have the peace of mind.
