Has anyone had a problem with the hydraulic leak of roof on side window area? It stained my roof fabric. My 3 yr extended warranty ran out this Summer and Volvo is quoting me $700 to fix it, altough they will not do anything regarding removing stain on ceiling fabric. IMO this is something that should not go bad and seems like Volvo should fix on their dime, at minimum a reduced cost. I've enjoyed this car but think I would have enjoyed ANY convertible. Based on that I would not recommend this vehicle.

 

The fluid goes under the carpet. Remove the carpet and the tie down loops and when you lift it you will see the pump and reservoir. Just top it off. It will bleed itself. The fittings are not hard but make sure the o ring is on the new line or it will leak again. Also make sure to use the Volvo fluid to fill it up.
