Hi. I noticed a mist of fluid when I went to put my hood up. So I quickly closed it . Iv noticed hydrolic fluid leaking from one of the pipes. Can anyone help. What's the cost etc? Cheers

 

what year is your C70? I assume you have an automatic... Curious, why did you assume its hydraulic fluid vs say transmission fluid or motor oil? First this is to see if any of the dip sticks show being low on fluid - ie brake reservoir, power steering reservoir, transmission and then engine oil. You should be able to trace the pipe back to either a reservoir or a larger item such as the power steering pump, ABS brake pump, transmission cooler line, turbo oil return line all could be possible sources of fluid leaks. What color is the fluid - if green it may actually be antifreeze so that calls in various hoses. If you can post a picture of where in the engine the leak is, it shouldn't be difficult to ID the source system.
