Default 12v Aux Power Supply Green Light - C70 2002

I have a 2002 C70. The front 12 volt Aux power supply used to light up green when I turned the car on.

Today I pushed in a plug too hard and the socket slid down inside the console. I removed the coin holder and was able to push it back up. Now the green light does not illuminate any more. The 12 volt power supply still works, it just does not light up green.

Any suggestions to fix the green light?

Also the two tabs where the supply locked into to hold it in place have broken, so now it just slides doen if i press too hard when plugging in a cell phone charger for example. Any suggestions on how to keep it in place?

Thanks

The light wire for the small bulb on the plug is separate to light up the green bezel. See if it came unplugged. If it is still plugged in then check the bulb. Other than replacing the broken part you could use any number of materials for a repair, but I would just buy a used part for the fix.
