Default c70 top

Make sure the trunk is closed and the emergency brake is engaged with the car in park or neutral.

just pulled off the carpet cover on the trunk lid and put some dielectric grease on it and the problem was gone.
the dielectric grease is like $14 a permatex size tube but in my opionion it is 1 of the best investments you can make on any electrical connection on auto and anything with a motor period. and that tube last a long time.
try putting some on your trunk connection and smearing it on your e-brake connection under the panel in the console and see if that fixes your problem.
if not its likely the trunk sensor needs replacing since the top will not move if it thinks the trunk is open. the e-brake is a simple slide connection so it is less likely the problem in my opinion
