2003 c70 new battery car misfires
hi all, the other day my battery died so i fitted a new one ive noticed that the old battery reads 70 ah but the new battery reads 72 ah on the labels and ever since the new battery as been fitted the car misfires and doesnt run properly at all, i contacted the store and they told me that the battery wouldnt of caused this but the car was running fine til id fitted the battery they gave me, im pretty sure its the wrong battery any ideas what i should do?
You might have already found a solution. But I have a feeling that the two problems are just coincidental. A misfire should store a trouble code telling you which cylinder has the problem. You will probably need to replace spark plugs and/or an ignition coil. Spark plugs should be replaced every 30,000 miles. Worn or fouled plugs cause poor performance and is hard on coils.
