Hey all,
This may seem dense but tranny fluid. calls for AW5 or dextron 111...Would not dextron 6 be best please advise as I want to service the tranny.

I'm pretty sure the numbers don't mean anything as far as the quality of transmission fluid. If your vehicle calls for Dexron III, then put Dexron III in it. Dexron VI has lower viscosity compared to Dexron III (at least when new), so I'd just stick with what the factory calls for.

 

The 04 C70 has the AW55 trans. It uses mobil 3309 or equal.
