Looking to purchase a 2004 C70. Car has ~66k miles on it; asking price is $12,995.

Few questions:

1. Was this a good model year as far as reliability/repairs?

2. Is an extended warranty a good idea and if so, does anyone know of a warranty that will cover the convertible top and mechanics? That stuff looks expensive to replace/repair

3. I've never owned a convertible before; any thoughts on driving in winter as far as the canvas top goes? Are they tough enough to stand up to snow/ice/sleet etc? I live in the mid-atlantic region, so winters are horrible but we do get our share of heavy snow and ice on occassion.
