I have a 2004 C70 Convertible which recently had the bumper torn off. I have had it replaced but recently found out while under the bumper that the hoses connecting the headlight wiper/washer blades are not connected and are tied up under the washer reservoir. I didn't realize this since the hoses that connect to the arms are still visible on the front bumper. I was going to replace the wiper arms, but will need to remove the newer bumper and connect the washer hoses. Unfortunately, I do not have a diagram or know how these hoses are connected or routed. Does anyone have any idea how the headlight wiper/washer hoses connect? The windshield wiper hoses work normally. I am assuming that when the front wiper arms were knocked off that the hoses were disconnected. I may need some valves to connect all the hoses, but am unsure which? Any suggestion or diagram or advice would be appreciated.
Do you live in an area where there is a lot of snow or slush that will cover the headlamps? In that case certainly headlamp washers and wipers would be nice to have. Usually my customers did not want to spend the dollars needed to repair the headlamp wipers or washers for they are not needed in my part of the country. They were happy having me just unplug the headlamp wiper motors for free in a parked position.
Unfortunately the parts catalog does not show hose routing -
I live in the Midwest so it is hit or miss. Everything works and I've purchased the parts to replace the wiper blades. The only issue that I am having is that the hose connecting from the washer reservoir to the hoses that run fluid are not connected at some point. I would like to put the wiper/washers back on and have them functional. The only issue is the disconnect of the hoses somewhere.
