Hello all,

I need help removing the speakers. It seems there is a special tool needed or I'm not understanding something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What type of bolt is this?

 

You have any luck with this? I am having all 4 speakers installed in my car and the installers cant figure out how to get to the speakers.

 

This person goes in depth pretty well about how to remove the door panel. You have to remove 5 t30 screws. You don’t need a tool for Volvo clips.. they will feel like they’re going to break but they won’t, just pull hard. yes I was able to get the seats out. The bottom seat is connected at the center of each rear seat and just pops up will a stiff pull. The backseat seats are connected at the top right up under the head rest the same way the bottom is. Just pull from the top of the seat and it will pop off.

Notice the slot. That’s were you pull up

The slot at the top under each headrest is where they are connected. Just pull from that area.

This is the other side of the bottom. Just pull up

How did you remove the side panel that hold the speaker and light switch ? i need to replace the switch.
