I recently purchased a 2008 Volvo C70. I have my ipod connected and playing but I can not get the ipod's controls to work through the radio's interface. The owner's manual states that you select mode and then select ipod or usb. The problem I'm having is when I select mode, there is no ipod or usb option, all I get is cd, sirius and aux. How do I get the mode to show an ipod option so I can control the ipod using the radio?

 

I have an 08 C70 and use the AUX to play my iphone's ipod and no it is not controlled thru the radio's interface. I have the same options as you when I select "mode". I think you can play your ipod thru the radio's interface if you have the optional Ipod USB interface radio adapter kit installed. I never bothered.
