Hey guys.

I did something incredibly stupid today and got I shut my trunk with a strap of my backpack barely hanging out, and it happened to be directly in the center of the trunk, so it's blocking the latch and the trunk is now jammed shut.

As far as I can find, there isn't a physical trunk release on the inside of the car or a good way to access the trunk from inside, OR a keyhole at the back for manually unlocking the trunk, so I have no way of getting into it.

in my 2007 c70 in the rear center console if the rubber is lifted there is a place there to unlock the trunk with the valet key. i don't know if it looks the same in the 2010. it's in the center armrest thing

 

Super excellent advice. Thank you so much. We have the hard top roof manually stowed and have not been able to secure the latch to lock the top cover.

I have a 2013, the manual shows a place to insert the metal key behind the drivers seat near the floor. Says turn it 110 degrees so just past 90 degrees. Read that when I noticed that if the car is unlocked so is the trunk which is unusual. I went to put something in it and had no key with me and it opened right up.
