My battery is dead and i was trying to open the bonnet but one side is stuck and would not open. i tried a lot of methods. can any one help me with this.

Other than having someone pull the handle while another bounces the bonnet over the sticking latch ???

Maybe trying to come up from under and saturate it with PB Blaster or any good penetrating oil.
