the big difference is in the LT "low pressure" turbo and the HT "high pressure turbo". LTs are designed to have better low end turbo spool up and less high end HP. the HT has very nice high end power and runs away from the LT at any engine speed over 2000 RPM. The HT was generally considered a premium model so check out what audio is in that - many had a 3 cd changer in the dash with a nice amp set up... You also didn't mention if the 2002 was a coupe or convertible... If you are comparing coupes to convertibles, aside from the obvious the coupes are way quieter and handle better due to the stiffer chassis created by the roof.
