Wondering if anyone has ever changed the center console blind (p/n 9123545) on their C70 (or similarly configured Volvo). I've seen a couple videos but they never show enough. I know what screws to remove, but how do I remove the center trim? Specifically is there a way to "disengage" the 4 clips that hold it down? Two videos show someone shimmying it off - unrealistically easily, and the other video doesn't explain how to unclip the trim. I'd like to do it myself. Dealership quoted me $750.Thanks if anyone can give me any tips.

 

I replaced that on my 2008 V70. Found the part and I asked my independent shop to install it. The did it for one hour of labor. I use the same shop all the time along with my family and their Volvos. They do everything I ask like buffing out a scratch. They even do free bulb replacement. I found a good shop eleven years ago and have stuck with them. You will get better service, believe me.
