Default C70 Rear springs. Lowered on the T5 GT?

Hi all,
One of my rear coil springs has broke so i need to replace them both. Question is I have read that the T5 2.3HPT has 'lowered' or 'sport' suspension as standard? Is this correct? I only ask as all the motor factors i go to online ask for the reg, and then give me a spring set. Yet when i put in the reg of a 2.0LPT it gives me the same spring set, same part no; etc? Don't want to buy the wrong ones! Any help much appreciated.
Cheers, Stu.

Finally,
After ringing a second dealership I'm nearly there!
Gave my vin number and "code" off the plate in the engine bay. The correct rear springs for my car are part no; 862 8145. BUT............
Can they tell me if they're 'sports'or 'lowered'? NO?
So I'm no better off after speaking with Volvo? They can obviously sell me those springs but at £95 each would sooner buy aftermarket just not sure if I'm going to get the correct ones?

Oh, and "Can you get me a build sheet to avoid confusion with any future parts needed?" .........."I'm sorry - NO?"

what year is your C70? For this part number, your VIN should have a suspension code "D" in there somewhere or marked on the spring if you are a '98 to '02 coupe or a '98 to '04 convertible... When you replace rear springs you will want to inspect the shock's top mount and consider replacing that since you may need to remove the shock to access the spring.

Yep. Had to give in vin number and an 8 digit code on the side plate. M61S4MS5. Volvo told me that denotes what spring but still couldn't tell me if its lowered? No "D" though?

Right. Ordered rear springs.Volvo dealer tells me part number 8628145 and £95.00 each. Maxtrac do a spring part number MC2796 (Direct replacement for volvo part number 8628145) at £30 each. So, no need for a calculator - ordered those.
Fitted today................looking a bit low? Ride is stiffened, better in my opinion...BUT they look a little low/close to the bump stop? One of my rear springs was broken and the other looked a recent fitment-no saying they were the correct ones but these new springs were over an inch shorter than the ones i took off the car?
