I wonder if someone can help me out on this one, my problems started when I fitted a tracker after spending a fair bit on odds and ends. After I fitted the tracker (which had its own SIM Card) the alarm started going off randomly, could go off after being parked for 5 minutes or 5 hours, it seemed to make no sense, so I disconnected the tracker and had no more problems so I didb't bother with the tracker after that.
But now I need WiFi so I got a mobile hotspot. If I turn off my aftermarket radio the hotspot goes to sleep so I assumed it would not affect the alarm but, once again, if I leave the hotspot on standby the alarm goes off randomly.
If I disable the motion sensor by cycling the central locking before parking and locking the car then all is ok but trying to remember to do this every time you park is just annoying, is there any way of permanently disabling the motion sensor?
