Default C70 turn on fog lights with immobilizer

Hey guys, ive been trawling the forums and the net everywhere and simply cannot find out for this specific car 1998 C70) how I can have the spotlights go on when I unlock the car with the immobilizer/engine alarm.

Most new Euro's do this so I want to be able to do it to mine because someimes it would come in handy.

So I approach the car in a dark car park and hit the unlock button and my interiror lights go on, I want my fog lights to come on aswell. Is this kind of thing simple. I guess I need to know which wires are where also.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Pete

ain't gonna happen. You will have to custom re-wire the circuitry to have anything other than the interior lights to illuminate. Notice that the horn does not 'honk' when you lock the auto.

Installing a timed relay off the unlock would give you an adjustable duration for fog lights on, but without integrating a light sensor it would turn them on during the day light hours and not just night time. Diode isolate the input so it only works with the remote and not the door switches.

DEI 528T off Amazon or Ebay and a few diodes around 1 amp, these off Ebay or your local Radio shack like store. Wire it up, then enjoy.
