Whassup everybody! I've been reading up on various posts on seat spring issues, and I need to know if my car has the same prob.

When I hit the tilt switch (on either seat), there is a clicking noise with no movement. I looked at the micro switch behind the seat, which is located just below a hinge (that's loose). When I press the switch and activate the tilt, still nothing happens. Is this a motor issue, or is this a cheaper fix? Thanks!

 

Is the switch clicking or the motors?

 

TECH: When I activate the switch, I hear clicking coming from under the seat.

 

Maybe one of the motors are jammed then.
See if you can get someone to help you and see if you can feel one of the motors try to move.

 

I will give that a shot. Funny how both seats are affected. I just bought the car and was kinda surprised to find both driver and pass. back rests not moving.

 

i've seen cable for seat back motor stripped.. and will not move seat back when button is pressed.
