evaporator drain line???
can anyone point me to the location of the evaporator drain line (condensation side not refrig side)
I notice quite a bit of water coming out of the car when i park after running the ac. I know i turn off the compressor and let the fan run for a minute to help but i would like to clear the drain line with air as i believe it to be clogged.
thank you

RE: evaporator drain line???
You can get to it without removing the dash.
You might want to also remove the lower Dash panel on the drivers side.
Pull down the carpet by the Dash by the center console. Then you will see a black cover. Push the front part under the dash towards the dash off the pin and slide back to remove. Then you should see the drain go into the floor.

Hot weather struck, and so did a soaked passenger side carpet. So, I read this thread and thought I'd share some photos. The evaporator drain drops down through the floor tunnel below the dash. Easy access is on the passenger side.
Pull back the carpet, revealing a removable panel. Slide the panel toward the rear of the car,
exposing the drain hose where the water is supposed to drain to under the car. Get a big towel ready, and remove the hose.
In my case, there was nothing blocking the hose, and sticking a wire down the fitting didn't seem to dislodge anything. So, I got the car up on a pair of ramps, and took a look underneath. The water drains to an outlet above the catalytic converter behind a heat shield.
It looked like the heat shield had been deformed upward enough to seal the drain. When I pulled the heat shield down and way, the remaining water quickly drained away.
