Hi i have a 1999 volvo c70 and i Just recieved a new IPD grill this one:

the grill looks nice but it does not fit good...it seems as if there is alot of space on the bottom of the grill than on the top...can anyone help or is there something im doing wrong??

and the grill box says it is for s/v 70 serious models...

 

could it also be that i have to use the seal from the original grill on the new one???

 

Serious models? Never heard of those before. Must not fit because there is no such thing as a "serious" model.

You mean series model.

I never reused a seal for my 850 IPD grille. And it fit fine.

Is it loose after you installed it?

 

it was the grill...it fits know but i had to bend in some parts...

 

You shouldn't of had to do anything, but at least it is in.
