Help me I'm just a girl who listens to YouTube
If the car can be driven safely go to a local parts store such as Autozone, O'Reillys or Advance. Those guys will do a quick scan of your car and tell you some direction as to what is going on. Sometimes things like this are something like a loose gascap or a bad mass airflow sensor (very easily replaced). good luck!
agree on going to a big box parts store to get the CEL codes scanned. It takes about 5 minutes or you can rent (in many cases for free) an OBD2 scanner. make sure you write down or get a print out of all the codes and you can post up to get some guidance on possible causes and next steps. Also note any other car behavior changes - ie long starting when cold or warm, rough idle or odd shifting of gears etc.
