Mr. Tech..................does the C-70 have a warning chime that sounds if the lights are left on? Most autos chime when the key is removed and the light switch is left on. My owners hand book does not indicate. I also notice that an audible sound is made when the alarm system is activated...............should I hear something in addition to the lights flashing?

There is no warning chime for the lights left on you can't leave the headlights on.Only the parking lights can be left on and there is no chime for them either.When you turn the key off the headlights go off.The alarm is set up from the factory so that only the lights flash with the alarm.I believe the dealer can set the horn to work when you arm the alarm.Im not 100% sure but I think they can.

 

Thank you sir. I noted that when I left the 'parking' lighs on there was not a chime. It is a nice feature on the European autos where the lights 'go out' when left on main beams. Once again, thank you...............you are a wealth of information. Lastly, I just returned from the Detroit auto show.......................unfortunately there were no C-70s on display as the factory rep was loath to inform me that the C-70 was on the way out and the new C-50 was coming in next year.................a retractible hard top/convertible.

That was what I heard also.I kinda can't wait to see the C50 I heard it is going to be and amazing car.
