Default looking at buying a C70

hello there

i am looking at replacing my 328 convertible with a C70 d5 ive been to look at one today link posted:

Volvo C70 2.4 D5 SE Geartronic 2dr

car seem to drive very nice loved the d5 sound much better than the Vw eos i test drove before...

what sort of things should u be looking out for on a C70 D5 auto
also how complex is it to fit a aux input for the radio IE for mp3/ipod

ps what sort of MPG do most people get
and are the roofs water tight do they need TLC every 3 months like the Eos

thanks all

Ryan smith
sorry about my spelling :/

for your radio - check out sites like Crutchfields or Amazon where you can buy an aux adaptor (GROM seems to be a popular choice) that talks to the dash radio via the CD changer cabling. knowing your c70 in-dash radio option would help when searching.

I've had a 2008 for 2+ years now - with 77K miles.
Most (petrol) MPG city 22 , and Hwy MPG @ 26 . I wish diesel was available here!
The roof has had only had one problem with a section of the head liner falling down. The glue holding the clips failed but an upholstery shop fixed it successfully and cheaply.

If an older C70 - if it has Dyna Audio and you give a chit for sounds, there is hands down, no equal.

Timing chain should be replaced around 90K so that expense might be entered in the pricing negotiations if relevant.
I replaced a vent box that cost me >$400. I've never heard of a vent box and the diesel vesion may not even have one.

I love my C70- simply put.
