We just purchased a 2007 C70 for our daughter. Got some criticism about the safety of a convertible but I like Volvo's approach. It's a 6 speed also which, as a professional driver, I felt would make her a better driver. Unfortunately, a week after we brought it home, she got hit in the rear by a pickup truck. The damage is minor but their insurance wants to total it. The deck lids were slightly damaged and the section where the trunk lid latches was pushed in about an inch. We spent a good deal of time looking for this car and I don't expect to sell anytime soon if at all so am not concerned about the "total loss" designation. I have the resources to do the repair but am looking for dimensional drawings to get it right. Does anyone know how I can get those?
