I purchased a "new" used 2010 Volvo C70 recently and I LOVE IT. The only thing I don't love, is I live in a rather brand new community in California. The majority of streets and buildings are brand spanking new. My Navi does not work almost anywhere in town. It's updated to 2015 but the communities are 2020-2021. I can't really afford the $600 gps systems, unfortunately. I would like to purchase one of those bluetooth $20 cigarette lighter things that give you the ability to use your GOOGLE MAPS through the car speakers so I can hear it with top down. Then I'd also like a WIRELESS backup camera ($50-$100 range) but they ALL seem to need to plug into the cigarette lighter as well. I only have one, so this is a problem. Has anyone figured out an affordable way to use GPS and Backup Camera together for under $300? No one in my family is at all tech smart so we have all agreed no way can we wire something. And living in Socal it'll cost hundreds to bring it into a mechanic. So we really want wireless camera if possible. Can someone offer suggestions? Keep in mind I do have the Navi system in my car, it's just outdated. I also have Bluetooth but I've been told it is only for making calls. But I have NO backup camera or even sensors. Please help, I'm getting desperate.
I legitimately had no idea this splitter existed. I found one that doesn't have wires but instead just found one that is more flat. I can't just use Google maps if it isn't through the speakers because I can't hear it with the top down. I need more sound so it needs to be hooked up to the actual car somehow. Now because you helped me I was able to get a backup camera and a bluetooth adapter so THANK YOU!
