Default no throttle responce after battery disconnected for 3 week

i have recently install a persons used engine is was a big problem the engine was the wrong year had to order a lot of parts to make everything fit right, but the throttle plate came with the car i went to start it up and it won't rev above 2100 rpm with the computer scaner was showing no throttle % is in limp home mode, or has it just lost comumication with the throttle plate, does it need to be relearned?

Check the main ground wire going to the transmission.

Is the ground cable where it originally was?
Also check the crank sensor.

What year is the C? Besides the new engine, were the original electrical components kept? eg. TCM, ETM, etc...

Default 2000 c70

The car is a 2000 c70 it cam in to my shop with timing belt jumped and bent valves customer opt to get a used engine for it. The engine came out of a 1999 v70. The engine came with out a turbo on it nor did it have a throttle plate. Have tranfered all sensor ,turbo, throttle plate, injector, coil from the engine that came with the car so there should be no confusing with the calibration, but still i have a problem. My computer scanner is still not pulling any code out of the cars computer even though i have the ets light on i am sure that it is in limp mode. How do you reset it

Perhaps your customer has extremely bad luck and is experiencing the ETM/TPS failure coincidentally. Regardless it should register on your code scanner. Normally I just use my laptop, but was also under the impression a hard reset was disconnecting your battery and touching the terminals together. Keep us posted, but it is always good idea to double check the previous work done.
