Had the Ck. Engine light come on a few days ago. The dealer pulled the codes and said it was an oxygen sensor "in the front" if that makes any difference. Sorry I did not ask for the actual code. Can the Oxy. sensor be replaced by the average person with out too much fuss, or is it better left to the mech? At this point I can tell no difference in the way the car runs.

 

It is kind of a pain. It just takes time and a few tools. You will need to buy an O2 sensor socket.
