I just bought a used 2000 C-70 convertible. Love the car but the problems are showing up. Latest is the passenger door lock. At first I could not get the door to unlock from the outsideeither with the remote or by going inside and trying to pull the lock up. It just wouldn't budge. But I could open the door by using the inside door handle. After the door was closed again every thing was the same as when I started, couldn't get in from the outside. Then all of sudden my wife grabbed the outside door handle and the door DID open. Now it opens from the outside all the time but now I can't lock it either with the remote or manually. Go figure. Does anyone have any clue as to where I should start or how to rectify this problem? Is removing the door panel a tricky job? Thanks in advance for any and all responses.
