I have two c70 convertibles( yes I know, I’m a glutton for punishment) 2009 and 2013 model. The 2009 still has the skid panel and the 2013(recent purchase) did not come with the panel intact.
I know the panels are a pain in the butt when trying to gain access under the engine for oil changes etc ,
but what are your thoughts or comments on if the panels are a necessary evil or something to be rid of.? I found a new panel( aftermarket I’m sure) on the internet for around $60 and I am trying to decide to buy one or just leave the engine/suspension naked?
