Default Please help 07 C70 Headlights

My daughter just got a 2007 Volvo C70 gifted to her for her first car and the headlights are trash. Drivers side has to be replace before she can drive it is so bad. Anyone have a set or at least a drivers side they would want to part with? Do any other models fit?

does your car have halogens or xenon HIDs? Is the problem a foggy lens or a bad reflector? Does one bulb look brighter than the other (which suggests a ground/wiring issue)?

The lens is not sold by itself.

When you replace the left headlamp assembly - You will need to match the bulb style or you will get a permanent bulb out message (and they won't work properly).

Mentioned earlier - do you have HID bulbs or H11 incandescents? Volvo used both, HID was optional. With H11s the inner bulb is the high beam. If you have HID the outer bulb is both the high and low beam.

Unfortunately, It looks like the part number for that headlamp does match any other car (such as the s40 in that year range)

Not sure about which bulbs they are. The car arrives Sunday or Monday.

check youtube for some vids on changing the headlight bulbs - on some models the entire assembly swings out making for easy access. It looks like that part suggests you have the HD Xenon. You'll need the entire bucket since the lenses are not replaceable. A few suggestions: Try Amazon or Ebay if looking for after market. Dealer web stores may not carry by this part # but may be able to recommend a replacment part or shop used - car-part.com is a good search engine to try. Last time I needed to replace a headlight for a 2000 S40, I went the Amazon aftermarket at half the dealer price and all was good. You can also try Volvo stores like FCP, IPD USA, SwedeSpeed etc.
