questions
Hi.New to this forum.I've owned several volvos over the years.240,740,940,c30.just got a 2003 c70,113k.no maintenance records so I don't know if the timing belt has ever been replaced.I've always used eEuroparts for parts and have usually been satisfied with them.so I'm sure I'll continue with them
My question is,the tranny sometimes bangs from 2nd-3rd or hesitates a moment.and then when braking and it shifts down it bangs.I'm sure that's not good.it's an automatic.I can't find the dipstick to check the fluid.owners manuel shows me where it's supposed to be but nothing is there.nor can I find one anywhere.appreciate any and all comments both pro and con on this car

It can have a red or yellow plastic loop at the end. On a turbo it's partly hidden by the tube.
This one is yellow. You also need to follow the proper procedure to accurately check it. I know with mine I'll usually check it a couple times after it's been driven again just to compare the readings.

Found it
Well,I found the tranny dipstick, and then promptly proceeded to break it while returning it in the tube. How screwed am I? I'm hoping its just sitting in the tube and hasn't fallen down into the pan.any suggestions?
