Yesterday there was a very heavy rain in Chicago. When I got home, I noticed that when I put the car (2008 Volvo C70) in reverse there was a metallic screeching noise. This morning I only noticed it for a split second when I first put the car in reverse. Has anyone else ever had this issue after a driving through a heavy rain/large puddles? I'm wondering if water got into the transfer case.
