Hey Gang,

So my dad is looking at second gen C70s... I put him in that direction since I love volvos, but a 07 c70 is a far cry from 96 855R.

Can anyone throw out any red alert "dont buy this car because" Thoughts, or even some "look out for" ideas. Perhaps a certain model year is better but a novice like him wont know it. Ive been doing abit of poking around the skynets, but he wanst to buy one like tomorrow. So time is short. Personally I shop for a car for months ...but not him. LOL.

Nearly all the reviews for the car are very good

However its still quite new for any major faults to come to the surface. The only thing that would concern me as the car gets older is the "deck of cards" folding roof. It does look very complicated in the way it stacks into the boot.

I would suggest you triple check its full operation on any car you test drive.
