I have a very nice 2002 but the windows seem very slow and I am worried that they are headed for the dreaded pully issues. Timed at 14.5 and 12.75 seconds down and up round trip, drivers adn passenger's door respectively. Wondering if they were slow out of the factory or if I have issues? I have seen that they are a rube-goldbrick with wires assembly. Wondering if there is some maintenance I can do to get more life out of them.

Frankly, I use them as little as possible, preferring to open the door at badged entry gates adn toll booths because I'm afraid of the pulleys breaking. Between windows and getting in the back seats - "what were they thinking?" otherwise I am absolutely crazy about my C70.
