hi all does anybody know if the 2002 t5 engine goes into a 1998 c70 and is the gear box the same or would that need the 2002 box installed as well thanks for your time

 

physically yes the engine and trans can be put into a 98, but you would have to do alot work with wire harnesses and the ecu and tcu to make it work.

I am not the most seasoned voice here though, you may want to wait until some of the senior heavy hitters weigh in.

I think Justin (Chilled Man) can elaborate on changing over an engine wire harness to make an early engine work in a later car. It looked like a lot of work.
