Tools to manually open roof
 

I know the answer has got to be on this forum but I can't find it. My 2002 C70 does not have the tools to open or close the convertible top manually. I know I can use a large flat head screwdriver to unlock the mechanism but what can I use to crank the cover open? Is there an Allen wrench or something that can be used? Does it have to be metric? I need to know what to ask for at the hardware or auto parts store. I've been looking for the Volvo tools online without success. The local Volvo dealer was a waste. Any advice??

I think its just a torx, but I don't remember the size. Probably either a T25 or T35.

I have the same issue. I don't know what tools to get. Also, do you know if it's a difficult job to open and close it manually?

Here's instructions and what the tools look like. Can't tell if that's an allen or a torx - the triangle tool is used like a screwdriver - turn to put the electric gearbox in "neutral" to allow the allen/torx to be turned.
